Do I need to be a good singer?
Absolutely not. In fact, most of our members would tell you they joined because they weren't confident singers. There are no auditions, no solos and no pressure to sound good.
Sing Social is all about having fun, singing your heart out and enjoying the experience. Once everyone starts singing together, you'll quickly realise nobody is judging anyone else. If you can sing along in the car or shower, you're more than qualified.

Can I come on my own?
Absolutely The vast majority of our members walk through the doors on their own for their very first session, so you certainly won't be the only one.
Our hosts are brilliant at making new members feel welcome and because everyone shares a love of music, conversations happen naturally.

What songs do you sing?
We sing the songs you already know and love. Expect everything from ABBA, Queen and Elton John to Bon Jovi, Oasis, Adele, George Michael, Tina Turner, Take That, Fleetwood Mac and many more.
Every session includes a mixture of feel-good classics and modern favourites, so there's always something you'll recognise and enjoy singing along to. No sheet music. No complicated harmonies. Just great songs everyone can enjoy together.

Is there any commitment and how do I cancel?
Membership is just £30 per month with no long-term contract. If you decide Sing Social isn't for you, simply let us know and we'll cancel your membership for you.
We're also so confident you'll love your first session that if you attend once and decide it's not for you, we'll happily refund your first month's membership in full.

What should I expect from the first session?
Expect a warm welcome, lots of laughter and a room full of people who were probably just as nervous at their first session.
We'll spend 90 minutes singing fantastic songs together in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. There are no auditions, no pressure and absolutely no expectation to sing on your own or sound perfect. By the end of the evening, you'll have sung your heart out, met some lovely people and almost certainly leave with a smile on your face.

How is Sing Social different from a traditional choir?
Sing Social is not a traditional choir, we're a singalong group that feels closer in spirit to group karaoke than anything else - and our sole focus is on having fun and feeling great, rather than musical perfection!
Traditional choirs often involve solos, auditions, sheet music, complex harmonies and working towards formal end-of-term performances. At Sing Social, we simply get together each week to sing great songs, have a brilliant night out and enjoy spending time with great people. It's singing for the soul, not the spotlight.
